5 Fastest Electric Cars in the World, Can Be Driven Up to 400 Km/Hour

Using the right engine and according to the weight of the vehicle, today's electric cars are able to accelerate quickly. Supported by an aerodynamic car body design, electric cars can become one of the fastest vehicles in Indonesia. Here are the 5 fastest electric cars that we have managed to summarize based on their ability to reach speeds of 0-60 miles/hour or 0-96.5 km/hour. Plus the ability to go at top speed.

1. Owl Aspark
The nascent Japanese electric hypercar company wasted no time in staking its claim to the world's fastest car title. Powered by four electric motors with a combined output of 1,985 bhp (brake housepower), the Aspark Owl has recorded a 0-60 mph sprint in 1.72 seconds and a claimed top speed of 249 mph or over 400 km/h.
Using a specially developed 64 kWh battery, it provides a cruising range of 280 miles or more than 450 km. Aspark plans to build just 50 Owls, each priced at £2.5 million or Rp 47.3 billion.

2.Tesla Roadster
The Tesla Roadster is a four-seater supercar powered by a 200 kWh battery connected to three electric motors, one at the front and two at the rear. With a power output of around 1,000 bhp, the Tesla Roadster is capable of sprinting from 0-60 mph in around 1.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of over 250 mph or 402 km/h. In fact, the Tesla Roadster has a far enough cruising range of around 620 miles or 977.8 km. The Tesla Roadster electric car is priced at 189,000 pounds or IDR 3.6 billion.

3. Rimac Nevera
Rimac Nevera's electric car quickly became a record breaker in the electric car world and the pinnacle of the Croatian manufacturer's fortunes. The Rimac Nevera accelerates from 0-62 mph in about 100 km/h in 1.95 seconds and 0-100 mph or 160 km/h in 4.3 seconds. Rimac Nevera is capable of reaching a top speed of 258 miles/hour or 415 km/hour on the Papenburg Automotive Testing track in Germany. With a battery power of 120 kWh it promises a cruising range of around 340 miles or 547 km between charges. This car was only produced 150 units at a price of 1.73 million pounds, or IDR 32.7 billion.

4.Tesla Model S
The Tesla Model S electric car is arguably the most impressive car on this list, because it's not an exorbitantly priced supercar built out of unobtanium in key figures. The new 1,006 bhp Plaid version of the Tesla Model S can sprint from 0-60 miles/hour in just 1.99 seconds. That said, keep in mind the Tesla Model S uses the North American launch acceleration standard, which only starts the run time after the car has moved about a third of a meter. In reality, this shaves about a tenth of a second off the actual standing initial figure.

5. Finifarina Battista
Beneath the carbon fiber skin of the curvaceous Pininfarina Battista lies a four-motor powertrain with a combined output of 1,877 bhp. Indeed, official figures have not been released, it is estimated that it can reach speeds of 0-60 miles / hour in two seconds. Despite being closely related to Rimac, the two only share about 50% of their components, so 150 buyers of the £2 million Pininfarina will get a bespoke machine. The hefty price includes driver training in Formula E cars run by parent company Mahindra.
